Quarry and Mine Noise
Quarries and mines generate high levels of noise through blasting or from heavy earthmoving machinery. Where residences are located nearby noise may cause disturbance to sleep or daily activities.
Quarries are often required to carry out regular noise monitoring of their activities to meet the requirements of their operating licence. This may be in the form of unattended long term noise logging or short term attended noise monitoring.
Day Design is equipped with instrumentation and personnel that are able to monitor noise from Quarries and Mines.
