Child Care Centres

Child care centres are a necessary part of many working parents life. Many Councils require new and existing child care centres to meet stringent noise limits.

Day Design has prepared many acoustical reports addressing noise from child care centres for both the centre itself or for residents complaining about child care centre noise nearby.

Unfortunately many proposed child care centres end up in Court due to objections from neighbours. Day Design commonly provides acoustical advice to child care centre operators that withstands rigorous cross examination. In addition Day Design provides expert evidence to Local Councils regarding noise impacts from an existing or proposed child care centres.

The Association of Australasian Acoustical Consultants (AAAC) has prepared the Child Care Centre Acoustic Guideline which is regularly used across Australia.

We welcome the opportunity to provide clients with acoustical advice regarding child care centres.
