Occupational Noise Surveys

Many industrial premises create high levels of noise during normal production which will affect employees if they are not adequately protected.

One way to regularly monitor noise levels in a factory is to carry out an Occupational Noise Survey. The results from these surveys are used to design noise controls to reduce occupational noise.

If the noise exposure to an employee is of a nature that could cause hearing damage, the employer maybe liable for a hearing loss compensation claim.

Day Design has prepared many reports that have been used in the NSW Compensation Court and given expert evidence to assist the Court.
